Title: bugs in freeplay v 0.121
Post by: Ak_tion47 on April 27, 2018, 12:16:01 AM
some bugs still get stuck at the border of map.

some ants still get stuch in edge of the nest.

when i destoied some speedtiles they did not change on minimap but were still showen speedtiles on minimap. resolved when i build some fireant tiles in the places

Wolfspider got stuck on ramp, looked like alive but there was a dead creatur info in the same place. possibly it was a invissible dead tigerbeatle, saw spider kill a beatle which insantly disapeared on death. spider could be killed but a few minutes later next spider sat in the same place.

screenshots can be seen here.

This is a result of the large wolf spider's devour ability.  It eats an enemy at low health to recover a large amount of HP.  Eating large enemies will work as intended, but cause the floating invisible harvestable corpse for a time.

but why is the wolfspider always hanging out in exactly the same position if not stuck, even when i killed it, the next would come and remain in exactly the the same spot and not even move if attacked. it seems like it got stuck on the lower edge of the ramp (like food befor the update).

thx for reply, at least i know about the invisible corpse now.

That seems to be something about spider AI, but only a dev would know.  A lot of creatures will have a point they'll go to, and wander around, which they'll return to if they respawn.  Wolf spiders though, for some reason, seem to hold a static position where they very rarely will move.  They do this in 2.1 at night as well.

Although, if it didn't move when you fought it then it probably was stuck.
