just translating again

Some suggestions that are very important to me personally.
Hi, I am new here in the forum I say the same time that my English is not all that good and that's why I just write in German. maybe who still finds my post well and translates this time into a good english.
First,
I'm actually following the game for a very long time, because I'm really interested in the game, I really like what you're doing, I'd like to make some suggestions that would be very important to me personally and that I would wish for ...
I am inspired by the game "Empire of the ants", which I already found fascinating as a child.
I'll just start with what's most important to me, the infrastructure. I think it would be great if the workers had to bring the eggs of the queen into a breeding room and these must be taken care of before they hatch.
(Eg for worker: 1x feed, make 1x clean, 1x feed, larva pupates itself, 1x clean, hatch).
The workers are then less elaborate than a warrior.
The workers could then be divided into different boxes so that they are more effective in the various things to stay the brood z.b. a wet nurse, she then only needs to feed once she then feeds the entire food at once and only has to clean the larva once ... etc.

You could also let the ants plant a mushroom, and thus make another caste for the farmers.

then I would find it good if there would be in addition to the resource food also building material which man needed to expand chambers and host the mushroom.

The colony should also eat, so eating starch in proportion to the colony's strength this could ideally be eaten or fed by the ants. Or it will simply be deducted from the Food Account every x minutes of play. If there was no food left, the colony would be thinned out after some time.

The rooms could z.b. Incubation 150 eggs chaff these are then brought by the workers / nurses of the queen there. There they hatch and then in I say "kindergarten" which can hold 60 larvae brought there then they stay until they pupate then they come from there in the "hatching space" and then slack the finished ant from her cocoon completely whether worker or warrior.

The different ants can be controlled by a regulator that determines the percentage of what is needed, for example:
Warrior 50%, spit ants 10%, farmer 5%, nurse 10%, workers (they can not do it all that effectively), 5% builders, and 20% for other workers (workers of other types).
So you would no longer actively determine what exactly an ant is. However, then there would still be a production controller for egg production important from 0% to 100% or something similar.

I also think it is important that the queen gets a throne room and therefore remains mobile. so that I can put them back strategically.

so the colony would be much more alive in the game the workers are not useless, the whole would create a certain buzz factor.

A multiplayer.
Other swarm peoples z.b. Wasps, bees, termites. (later in an add on).
Others spoke mainly German :-D ^^

I do not know what is still feasible or what is interesting for you. If I could program myself I would program a game exactly according to these ideas.

I think I broke it.
The UI overlays (health bars, tile upgrade status) aren't showing up anymore and the game is running at a solid 2 FPS.


One of the glaring issues that is really exposed by Freeplay is how completely broken the Formica fusca are. Build enough rapid fire shooters and they kill everything before it can even make close combat contact - no cover from melee ants or workers required.

well if you have 1000 ants then its not a suprise that game is slow as hell

I did the insane difficulty once but it wasnt that hard as i thought it was. all i did was to make as much fighter ants as possible and upgrade them as high as possible. i only added 3 extra workers for destroying the walls and let the other basic 7 do their thing. What i also did on the part where the most insects are is a big room.

if theres once an update with the 5th formicarium challenge. What if we are able to invade the Ants and have two formicariums so you have a bigger home?

step one: if you pressed F12 then press shift+tab

step three: on the bottom left of the window you see a button with the word "upload". then theres another window to ask you how you want to upload it. if you did the settings how to upload you gotta wait a bit.

step four: after its done with loading you should see a small cloud which should say that its uploaded. if you click on it then it doesnt say "upload anymore but "view online"
