Are there any plans to add in multiplayer? I can realy see it work in the freeplay.. 2 colony's fighting off waves and trying to kill the other players queen

Hello reader/devs,

First of all i want to say that i'm totaly in love with the game, its absolutely amazing. Today i played some freeplay in the beta and you can say i realy stresstested the game 550+ ants.

After going past 400 ants i noticed a real drop in fps (from 30 to 15 and in the end i had 4fps)

I played freeplay with
difficulty:Scale with colony
(With my own ants)
(all creatures on)

Picture 1. After a certain point the death body's all over the map will cause fps drops and wont disappear (the whole map was filled with death creatures)

Picture 2. Ants wont drop food at the foodstorage, but keep it close to the queen (atleast 50 ants had food and kept going up and down (2nodes) to the queen and then back to the food storage.

The soldiers in 2.X have higher health, so instead of constantly using food for workers, use soldiers. This is very true against ranged troops, since they could take them out fairly quickly. Workers are good in the beginning, but soldiers could be better, replenishing cost wise.

The narrator says on the 1.X levels that "soon they will go to the surface, where new challenges await." I would think that you would keep your original nest in the 1.X series, transfering over to the new levels. This could also apply to other underground levels.
There could also be a level that is post-worker stage, probably taking place as a species of ant that lacks the fat left over from the flight. The queen would need to hunt for food to feed the larva and herself for a couple days. The queen would need to survive attacks from predators, like ant patrols and big beetles while she obtains this food.

It would probably have to wait until post-release, if ever, as species are only being added with new missions.  Hard to say how difficult it is for them to make a new species on its own, but I expect it's a bit much to go out of their way for.

Perhaps, but that might also be too easy.  I'm more in support of the idea of lowering the amount of food you get from everything you kill.
